December 1
-Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash on N. Spring St.  Sandra Hamilton, 50, Bluffton was issued a citation for a Reasonable Control violation. 
-Officers responded to Bluffton University in response to a suspicious male on campus talking to students and trying to get them to get into his vehicle and let him into dorm rooms.  It was later learned that the same male attempted to give money to a young female in Findlay and was also involved in a robbery in Bowling Green where he was subsequently arrested.    

December 3
Police responded to a car/deer traffic crash in the 8000 block of Dixie Hwy.   

December 6
Police took a report of a stolen motor vehicle from a Navajo Drive business.  The vehicle was later recovered and it turned out it had not been stolen. 

December 7
Someone reported that a wallet had been left at a Main St Business and was missing.
A Main St. resident reported being harassed by an ex-boyfriend.        

December 9
Police received a call from a Snider Road business stating that an employee had left their property and appeared to be intoxicated.  After receiving the information officers located the vehicle described travelling eastbound on SR 103.  After observing several moving violations officers stopped the vehicle at SR 103 and I-75.  Luke Tenwalde, 34, Lima was arrested for OVI and a Lanes of Travel violation.  The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court. 

December 10
Officers arrested Scott Smith, 36, Bluffton for a warrant out of Allen County.
An Allen County resident reported an altercation with a family member while at Bluffton Elementary School. 

December 11
An East Elm St resident reported unknown persons had entered his parked vehicle and took change from it.
A Dunkirk resident reported a child custody issue.
Police responded to a N. Jackson St residence in response to a dispute with a neighbor over a bush being cut down.

December 15
A university student reported that someone had thrown a beer bottle at the rear window of her car and shattered the window.
A N. Lawn Avenue resident reported that her daughter and nieces were being harassed while walking home from school. 

December 16
A Vance Street business reported that someone had stolen the door off of a piece of equipment parked at the business.
Police responded to Bluffton University in response to a vehicle that had a window broken out of it.   
Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of College Avenue and S. Main St.  Kayla Cooper, 27, Bluffton was cited for Assured Clear Distance. 
Officers responded to a hit-skip traffic crash in the 100 block of N. Main St.   

December 17
A University student reported that an unknown person had entered her unlocked dorm room and stole her laptop computer.

December 19
Police responded to the I-75 exit ramp at Bentley Road in response to a vehicle sitting in the roadway and the driver apparently slumped over the wheel.  Upon arrival officers discovered Joshua Piercefield, 24, Bluffton sitting in the car that was in the middle of the ramp.  After a short investigation Mr. Piercefield was arrested for OVI and several other violations.  The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

December 22
Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash at the intersection of Harmon and Bentley Roads.  Scott Malaney, 62, Findlay was cited for a Right of Way at Stop Signs violation. 

December 23
A Kenton resident reported his car was taken from a parking lot while he was at work at a Jefferson Street  business.              

December 24
A S Main Street resident reported someone had thrown food items on his vehicle.
-Police arrested Reagan Sturgeon, 27, Bluffton for DUS following a traffic stop on SR 103.

December 28
Police responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the100 block of N Main St.  Elizabeth Werling, 39, Bluffton was issued a citation for Reasonable Control.   

December 29
A Sunset Dr resident reported someone had accessed her credit card accounts and made unauthorized purchases. 

December 31
Police arrested Deven Wierwille, 24, Bluffton for DUS following a traffic stop on Jeffersont St. for improper display of a registration sticker.
