Here's a chance to support Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) is joining thousands across the world who promote #GivingTuesday on Tuesday Nov. 29., according to Daren Lee.
Last year, more than 45,000 organizations in 71 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday. Since its founding in 2012, #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world.
"We invite you to support MHCO this season and make a gift in memory or honor of an elder who has been an influence in your life," said Lee.
"As this is MHCO’s 61st year of providing purposeful living to the elders of our communities, we are seeking 61 gifts before midnight on Nov. 29. We are inviting people to consider a gift of $61; or a $1 for each year that Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio has been serving people in our communities.
For residents living at Hilty Home, Mennonite Memorial Home, Willow Ridge or Maple Crest, a personalized #GivingTuesday greeting card will be created and hand delivered for each elder who has a gift given in their honor on Tuesday, Nov. 29 between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.
These gifts will support the overall mission and programs of MHCO as part of the larger $85,000 Brighter Lives Annual Campaign goal.
