Leonard Lee Peterman was a 1976 Cory-Rawson HS graduate
Leonard Lee Peterman, 58, died at 4 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at his home.
Leonard was born Dec. 21, 1957, in Columbia, S.C. to the late William Harold and Betty Jean (Bruce) Peterman. On Aug. 2, 2003 he married Cheryl Lynn (Cramer) Peterman who survives in Lima.
Leonard was a 1976 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School. He worked as a HVAC Technician and Service Manager for R. A. Flynn and Son. Leonard had previously worked for Coca Cola and Pepsi. He was a member of the Lima Scubanauts.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Lynn Peterman of Lima, his children, Anthony Lee (Mindy) Peterman of Lima, Matthew Scott (Maranda) Peterman of Morrow, Loralie Elizabeth (Scott) Adams of Fishers, Ind., and Jerad Thomas Rhonehouse of Lima; grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Peterman, Chloe and Scarlet Grey Peterman, Elizabeth "Ellie," Emma and Jaxson Adams.
Other survivors include brothers, Ronald (Connie) Peterman of Bluffton, James (Kanjana) Peterman of Rawson, Kenneth Peterman of Cape Coral, Fla.; sister, Deb (Wes) Montgomery of Rawson; the mother of his sons, Sue Grillot of Morrow; sister-in-law, Rhonda Bakle of Paulding; brother-in-law, Scott Cramer of Payne.
He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ainsley Adams and sister, Darlene Peterman.
Memorial services will begin 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel, 1170 Shawnee Road, Lima, Ohio 45805. Pastor Wade Melton will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Rita's Hospice.
