Challenged Champions Obstacle River Run June 10
Challenged Champions Equestrian Center, 11913 Road 6, Ottawa, will hold its annual Obstacle River Run on Saturday, June 10. The day includes several family-friendly events:
10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Showcase where riders present a drill team performance
11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Pony rides ($3 donation per ride)
11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Face painting
10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Bake sale
11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Chicken barbecue dinner; pre-sale only $8 each
2:30 p.m. – Youth obstacle mud run
4 p.m. – Adult obstacle mud run
6:30 p.m. – Corn hole tournament – cash prizes awarded
Obstacle River Run details
All competitors will take on mud pits, fiery obstacles, mudslides, river crossings and more. The youth event, for 13 and under, includes a shorter version.
Sponsorships
Two sponorship levels are availble for businesses, organizations and individuals interested.
• Blue Ribbon sponsors are $200 and includes sponsor name on back of race t-shirt and signage at the event.
• Grand Champion sponsors are $400 and includes sponsor name of back of race t-shirt, signage, spectator passes and a featured radio ad.

Challenged Champions Equestrian Center is non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. All proceeds from the event benefit the Center.
The center was established in 1997 as a non-profit charitable corporation. Using the horse and its environment, we provide equine assisted activities for people with a variety of special needs.
The mission of the Challenged Champions Equestrian Center, Inc. is to enrich and change the lives of children and adults with special needs through facilitated equine activities.
