Michael Hensley new executive director of Allen Council on Aging
Michael Hensley has been appointed to the position of Executive Director of the Allen County Council On Aging, effective Oct. 10. He He will work with retiring Executive Director Diane Bishop until her retirement, effective late December, 2017.
Hensley brings a great deal of experience to the Allen County Council on Aging. He has most recently been the Auglaize County Administrator and before that he worked with the Children Service’s Board of Allen County and also the Allen County Juvenile Court.
In addition to overseeing the entire agency programs and staff, he will oversee the renovation of the new agency offices at 700 N. Main St., Lima (former Seiferd-Hosselman building).
