MMH Easter egg hunt in new location
Due to construction on West Elm Street, the annual Mennonite Memorial Home Easter egg hunt will move to the Bluffton University campus.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, starting promptly at 10 a.m. The location on campus is the practice soccer field, near the tennis courts. Access is off of Rosenberger Drive. These is no access from West Elm Street.
This year’s Easter egg hunt will feature more than 3,000 eggs filled with candy by Mennonite Memorial Home elders. Participants can also register for the drawing for four Easter baskets.
The Easter Bunny will make an appearance and pose for pictures. All children must be accompanied by an adult and should bring a basket for collecting eggs.
Families are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early as the eggs are collected very quickly once the hunt begins. Parents can enjoy doughnuts while the kids are hunting!
Because of the location change, the Easter bake sale usually held the day of the hunt, will take place on Saturday, April 20, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Hilty Home, Pandora, in conjunction with the Hilty Easter egg hunt, starting at 10 a.m.
The annual MMH Easter egg hunt is presented by Mennonite Memorial Home as a community family event. Support is provided by McDonald’s of Bluffton and Community Markets.
