Women's Golf Results
The Bluffton University women's golf team played for the third straight day on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021. Following two days at Denison, Coach Craig changed up the lineup for the Labor Day event at Colonial Golf Club. The Beavers finished with a 413 on Monday, besting rival Defiance by three strokes.
Senior Keely Briggs (Franklin) shot a 91 to lead the way for Bluffton. Freshmen Shelby Stammen (Fort Recovery) and Cheyanne Bolden (Sidney) went 103 and 109, respectively, with freshman Isabel Miller (Dayton/Centerville) and Grace Branson (Carlisle) rounding out the day with identical scores of 110.
Men's Golf Results
The Bluffton University men's golf team followed up its 323 from Sunday with a 319 at the Polar Bear Classic-Part 2 on Monday, Sept. 6, 2021.
Clay Quellhorst (St. Marys/Memorial) led a balanced effort with a 78 at Colonial Golf Club. One stroke back was senior Dominic Castelvetere (Ontario). Spencer Daniels (Ashland) and Hunter Joliff (Elida) carded 81's with junior Nathan Eberle (Grove City) tallying an 85.
Defiance Fall Invitational
Bluffton's men and women will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance for the Defiance Fall Invitational.
