Bluffton spikers sweep NB
The host Bluffton volleyball team swept local non-league foe North Baltimore in three sets Monday night, September 13.
The Pirate girls improved to 6-2 with the 25-9, 25-17, 25-19 win, while NB dropped to 4-5 with the defeat.
Senior middle hitter Kylie Stackhouse topped the Pirates with 10 kills and two blocks.
Bluffton senior setter Skyler Scoles doled out 21 assists, made one block and served five aces.
Senior Sophie Bricker hustled up 11 digs, while classmate Kylie Monday came up with with three digs and contributed six kills.
Senior Haelynn Bischoff added three kills, and Avery Talavinia served up five aces.
Olivia Hobensack added five assists.
The Bluffton JV also won, 2-0.
The Pirate girls host county rival LCC Tuesday, Sept. 14.
