You might be Bluffton's longest loser! (It's a good title to earn)
BFR offers the challenge of 2011 - you may become the longest loser! (Which, in this challenge, is a good thing.) The challenge begins the week of Jan. 17.
Here's how it works:
Persons competing for the title must weigh-in between Jan. 17 and 21.
In order to remain in the competition you must lose at least .1 of a pound each weigh-in (weekly). If you do not lose, or if you gain, you are out of the competition. The competition will continue until there is only one person remaining and still losing weight.
You may have one week as a "bye." You do not need to weigh in that week, but you need to remain in the competition if you retain the same weight or gain weight.
The winner receives a three-month membership to BFR. Other prizes will be awarded throughout the compettion.
The fee for joining is $5 for BFR members and $10 for non-members. Competitors must be members to use the BFR building during this period.
BFR's staff will provide weight loss tips and work out tips each week to assist competitors in the program.
BFR's staff is also available to assist anyone needing assistance during the competition.
BFR currently offers a holiday membership special good through Jan. 31. Contact BFR for details, or download the flier on the bottom of this story for complete details.
