Registration required

GROB Systems of Bluffton has announced a February 19 Apprenticeship Tour, the last such event for the 2021-2022 school year.

The 9:00 a.m. tour of the 1070 Navajo Dr., facility features a presentation about the program, Q&A with training staff, and a facility tour led by current apprentices.

Rhodes State Lima provides this video account of what it is like to be a GROB apprentice: https://youtu.be/5lN1sPubeUw.

Attendance is limited and registration is required. Visit www.joingrob.com/apprentice/tours to register for this event.

GROB explains that apprenticeships feature "on-the-job training, a hands-on learning environment, and a company paid college degree. This combination of training and education helps our apprentices become valuable members of our highly-skilled workforce.

"The program is designed to prepare students for technician-level jobs within our company. This could include working in the world of robotics, CNC machines, computer aided drafting and design, assembly and test equipment, and total flexible manufacturing network."

GROB Systems, Bluffton, OH, is a subsidiary of GROB-Werke in Germany. It is one of the world's largest suppliers of machine tools and automation systems.
