Senior Center introduces Saturday hours, holds craft sale June 3-4
CORRECTION: The Senior Center will be open until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main, will now be open on most Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. This will give the public extra shopping hours for member-made crafts and give members additional time to enjoy the library, exercise equipment and free Wi-Fi.
This weekend, the center will also be holding a craft sale. Hours:
- Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Saturday 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The center takes donations of craft items, which supports the products made and sold at the center. Director Tonya Meyer explains, when there is a surplus, the center holds a sale. Items for sale are great for crafters, sewers and artists.
The Saturday sale coincides with the Bluffton Arts & Craft Show, which will be held 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Cherry and Railroad streets adjacent to Blended Roots, 246 Cherry St.
