Bluffton High School blanked Kenton 5-0 in girls tennis play Thursday afternoon, August 11, at the Ohio Northern University courts in Ada.

The lopsided win upped the Pirate record to 1-1-1 this season.

The Pirate girls won all 10 sets and dropped just seven of 67 games in the match.

Juniors Brooke Camper and Caitlyn Couch each rolled to victory by the score of 6-2, 6-0 at first and second singles, respectively.

Freshman Hannah Nieman cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at third singles.

Junior Leah Klinger and sophomore Ava McCamey combined to triumph handily 6-0, 6-0 at first doubles.

The Bluffton duo of sophomores Kaleigh Coffman and Brooklyn Moser also swept to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at second doubles.

Bluffton plays in the seven-team Bath tournament at UNOH this weekend. The Lady Pirates then visit WBL foe Defiance Tuesday, August 16.
