BHS boys soccer tie at Kalida

The visiting Bluffton High School boys soccer team tied tough Kalida 1-1 in a non-league match Thursday night to conclude the regular season.
The Pirate record is now 8-6-2 after tying the Wildcats. Kalida is 10-2-4 following the tie.
Kalida scored first on a Caden Looser goal in the 22nd minute.
Nolan Hoffman knotted the score 1-1 on a Jack Brauen pass in the 30th minute.
Neither team scored over the final 50 minutes.
Pirate goalkeeper Kyle Basil made three saves in goal. The Wildcat keeper Brady Fersch was credited with eight stops.
The Pirates put nine of their 12 shots on goal. Kalida got off seven shots, three of which were on goal.
