Beaver volleyball vs. Hanover recap

HANOVER, Ind. – The Bluffton University volleyball team dropped a tough 3-1 decision at Hanover College on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Beavers fell to 15-7 overall (3-2 HCAC) while the Panthers improved to 12-10 (3-2 HCAC).
Jenna Woods (DeGraff/Riverside) and Chloei Barnett (Wapakoneta) powered the Beaver offense with nine kills each. Kaylie Campbell (Camden/Preble Shawnee) was just one off their pace with eight winners while also tallying four blocks. Paige Massie (Alvada/Arcadia) hammered home seven shots and fired four aces.
Emma Organ (Lambertville, MI/St. Ursula Academy) was the defensive powerhouse with 15 digs. Maddie White (Ashland) handed out 25 assists and picked up 13 digs for a double-double. Woods added nine pickups to her stat line with Massie tallying six.
The Beavers are back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 19, when they travel to Cincinnati for a matchup against Mount St. Joseph. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
