Agenda for March 2023 Bluffton School Board meeting
On Monday, March 20, the Bluffton Exempted Village Schools will hold a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center of the Elementary School. The agenda includes establishing a fund for the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) K-12 Safety Grant in the amount of $300K, resignations and contracts including the resignation of Jodi Brauen and the hiring of Courtnee Morris as Technology Coordinator.

ESTABLISHING FUNDS & ADJUSTMENTS
OFCC K-12 School Safety Grant - FY2023 set-up in the amount of $300,000.00 to be appropriated and spent as follows:
- Supplies-Elementary School - $ 20,000.00
- Supplies-Middle School $ 20,000.00
- Supplies-High School $ 20,000.00
- Equipment-Elementary School $ 80,000.00
- Equipment-Middle School $ 80,000.00
- Equipment-High School $ 80,000.00
School Safety Grant - FY2023 set-up in the amount of $6,208.86 to be appropriated and spent as follows:
- Purch. Serv.-Elementary School $ 1,500.00
- Purch. Serv.-Middle School $ 1,500.00
- Purch. Serv.-High School $ 1,708.86
- Purch. Serv.-Athletics $ 1,500.00
IDEA-Part B 2023 Special Ed. Grant increased in the amount of $2,080.18 to be appropriated and spent as follows: Special Ed.–Teacher Salary 516-1237-111-9003 $ 2,080.18
Title I 2023 Targeted Assistance Grant decreased in the amount of $181.00 to be appropriated and spent as follows: Title I 2023 Targeted Assist-Teacher Salary $ (181.00)
IDEA Early Childhood Special Education Grant – FY2023 increased in the amount of $8.97, to be appropriated and spent as follows: IDEA Early Childhood Sp. Ed.-Purchased Service
Title II-A 2023 Improving Teacher Quality Grant increased in the amount of $238.19 to be appropriated and spent as follows: Title II-A 2023 Imp. Teach Quality-Purchase Serv.
OneNet Connectivity Grant increased $5,400.00 to be appropriated and spent as follows: Purchased Services
Treasurer to request an Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources Revision #2 from the Allen
County Auditor with additions listed above.
CONTRACTS, ASSIGNMENTS, RESIGNATION & ETC.:
Resignation: Jodi Brauen – Effective May 31, 2022
Technology Coordinator: Courtnee Morris as Technology Coordinator on a three-year contract (224 days) effective August 1, 2023, at a salary of $85,000 for the 2023-2024 school year. Starting July 1, 2023. Courtnee Morris will be under contract on an as needed basis and paid per diem rate based on the 2023-2024 contract.

AGREEMENT
Northwest Ohio Educational Technology Contractual Agreement (NWOET): Bluffton Exempted Village School District will renew membership to obtain NWOET services at a cost of ADM October 1169 x $1.95 for the school year 2023-2024. The Learn360 Video Streaming cost is $1,605.00 The total cost for NWOET contract and Discovery Education streaming is $3,884.55.
