Pirate tennis nipped by Bryan
Wins by first and second doubles

The visiting Bluffton High School boys tennis team lost a close 3-2 bout at Bryan Saturday afternoon, April 15.
The Pirate record fell to 2-7 with the loss. Bluffton lost all three singles matches, and won the two doubles matches, each in three-setters.
Senior Braeden Ackerman and sophomore Branson Hilty teamed up to win at first doubles 4-6, 6-0, 6-2.
Freshman Hudson Phillips and junior Ayden Diller combined to triumph at second doubles 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Junior Wade Ginther lost 6-2, 6-3 at first singles. Freshman Grady Coonfare fell 7-5, 7-6 (7-2) at second singles.
Freshman Isaiah Kohli fell 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
Bluffton hosts Celina Thursday, April 20.
