Unofficial results for May 2 Allen County election
Ballot issues and rainy weather were among the influences on voters on Tuesday, May 2 when 10.35% of Allen County registered voters cast in person and absentee ballots. The following unofficial results have been reported by the Allen County Board of Elections.
In Bluffton, 275 YES votes were cast in favor of the Proposed (Resolution) Gas Aggregation, 39 NO votes were cast against the measure.
In Bluffton's Precinct B, 82 YES votes were cast in favor of a local liquor option that will allow Kira's Flipside Grill to serve alcohol on Sundays; 19 NO votes were cast.
Across the county, voters approved two Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District tax levy renewals. The first item, a 10-year levy received 5,219 votes in approval and 1,519 votes against. The second, an 8-year levy received 5,183 in favor and 1,537 votes against.
