Spring Moths!
On Wed., May 31, at 8:30 p.m., the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District will offer SPRING MOTHS! at the MCELROY ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER (2355 Ada Rd. Lima, OH).
Late spring offers some of the best mothing of the year with many of the large, charismatic moths emerging as adults. While it may be a late program, some of the most fascinating things come out at night (and not just moths!). We will start with an indoor presentation and then go outside to a moth sheet, black lights, and baited trees. Flashlights and cameras are encouraged.
