Pirate volleyball seeded 5th

The Bluffton High School volleyball team was seeded fifth in the tough Div. III, 12-team Kalida district drawing Sunday, October 8.
The Pirates (16-4) host six seed Ottawa-Glandorf (9-12) Monday, October 16 at 6 p.m. in the first round.
The winner advances to visit fourth seed Parkway (11-9) Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7:15 p.m.
The third round at Kalida would likely be against top seed and MAC co-leader Coldwater (19-1) Monday, Oct. 23.
St. Henry (17-3) is seeded second, with Ft. Recovery third (14-5).
The district finals are Oct. 25 in Kalida at 6 p.m.
