Marilyn Ruth Dearth worked for Cole-Humphrey Insurance
Marilyn Ruth Dearth, age 90, of Ada, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born on October 11, 1933, in Bluffton, Ohio to Noah and Ethel (Goodman) Amstutz. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Nadine Dearth; granddaughter, Maysa (Kindle) Fleece; two brothers: Carl (Joanie) and Glenn Amstutz; and brother-in-law, Russell Dearth.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Mike (Dovie) Dearth, Karla (Charles) Beagle, Kerrie (Mark) Allen and Teresa Romick; ten grandchildren: Nadine (Tim) De Ran, Joe (Julie) Haynor, Tara (Matt) Wagner, Tyler (Tora) Musselman, Tiffany (Keith) Vanest, Caleb (Rachel) Allen, Kyle (Amanda) Allen, Levi (Alisha) Beagle, Lyle (Erika) Beagle and Travis (Nicole) Beagle; twenty-three great grandchildren: Chase Fleece, Evelyn Fleece, Isabella Wagner, McCoy Wagner, Logan Musselman, Carter Musselman, Addison Musselman, Cooper Lykins, McKenna Vanest, Colten Beagle, Carsen Beagle, Owen Beagle, Lane Beagle, Joseph Haynor, Nathan Haynor, Liam Haynor, Lincoln Haynor, Levi Allen, Haley Allen, Rylen Allen, Rylee Allen, Jaxson Allen and Ember Allen; brother, Leonard (Rita) Amstutz; and sister, Karen Dearth.
Marilyn retired from Cole-Humphrey Insurance after working for over thirty years. She previously worked for Hanson Funeral Homes and the Restore in Ada, where she enjoyed helping people. She enjoyed sewing and restoring her antiques. Marilyn loved all of her children, grandchildren and her cats.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Charles Moeller officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
