Pirate boys tennis blanks Ada

BLUFFTON __ The Bluffton High School boys tennis team blanked winless visitor Ada 5-0 Monday evening, April 22.
The Pirates won all 10 sets in the match.
Pirate junior Branson Hilty beat Ada junior southpaw Nathan Williams 6-3, 6-2 at first singles.
Pirate senior Wade Ginther defeated Ada sophomore Justin Bowden 6-0, 6-1 at second singles.
Sophomore Nick Lovett edged Ada freshman Brandon Prater in a close three-setter at third singles. They split the first two sets 6-2, 4-6 before Lovett won the third-set tiebreaker, 10 points to six.
The Pirate sophomore tandem of Isaiah Kohli and Grady Coonfare swept Bulldog juniors Luke Archer and Mohamad Khalil at first doubles 6-0, 6-0.
Pirate seniors Ayden Diller and Ethan Nickles dispatched Ada senior Jesse Okuly and sophomore Sam Crawford lost 6-1, 6-1 at second doubles.
The Pirate netmen previously beat Celina 4-1 on April 18.
