The Village of Bluffton Council has provided the attached preliminary agenda and packet for a regular meeting on Monday, June 10.

Legislation includes:

Second readings of a resolution and an ordinance in support of new funding for Viilage Safety Services.

If passed, the resolution allows submission to the Allen County Board of Elections a November 5 ballot measure asking Bluffton voters to approve or deny an increase in the Village income tax rate from 1.25% to 1.65%

If approved by voters, the proposed ordinance puts the new tax rate into effect.

An introduction to this legislation was presented HERE in a May 29 Bluffton Icon article.

The agenda also includes an opportunity for public comment and reports from the Utilities and Insurance committee.

Council will be asked to approve event permit applications:

  • Food Truck Day events at the Bluffton Community Pool
  • August 10 Dominic Francis Memorial Bike & Jeep Ride
