Matt Wood named EVP/Chief Lending Officer for Citizens National Bank
Citizens National Bank (CNB) has promoted Matt Wood to Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer for the bank. In this role Matt will oversee profitability of the bank’s lending portfolio, including commercial, agriculture and retail.
In addition, he will work with all the Market Presidents to deepen relationships with current customers and identify opportunities for bank market expansion. He is replacing Darrell Buroker who is retiring in December.
With over 23 years’ experience in Commercial and Agricultural Lending, Matt has been serving as the Market President for CNB’s Findlay office since 2019. He’s well-versed in relationship banking including deposit products, commercial real estate loans and lines of credit and agricultural real estate loans and lines of credit. He’s also knowledgeable of various commercial lending programs, as well as programs offered through the Farm Service Administration (FSA) for farmers.

Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Bowling Green State University. He later attended the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin and the Graduate Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Matt has always been an active member of the Findlay area community. He has volunteered for many local charitable events and served on non-profit boards and committees. Matt and his wife Lisa reside in Findlay, Ohio.
