ACBDD board members transition on December 19
On December 19, 2024, at the regularly scheduled board meeting, the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities will recognize two board members completing their maximum terms, the appointment of two new board members and the re-appointment of two current board members to second terms.
Thomas Fleming will complete 14 years of service. Fleming will be recognized for his dedication to the services and supports of the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities and his service as Board President for 12 of the 14 years. Phyllis Montrose will complete 13 years of service on the Board. Montrose will be recognized for her outstanding dedication to the Board, including her long-time service on the Ethics and Finance Committees.
In addition, Allen County Commissioner Beth Seibert will administer the oath of office to two current board members. Chrissy Hood joined the Board in 2018 after fulfilling an unexpired term and will be sworn in to her second full term. Ty Butterfield joined the Board in 2021 and will be sworn in to his second term.
Commissioner Seibert will also administer the oath of office to Scott Geier and Reba Wall, who will fill the positions held by Fleming and Montrose. Geier is currently a controller for Trisco Systems, Inc and comes to the Board with 25 years of accounting and financial experience. Wall is currently an Administrative Assistant and Human Resources Specialist for the Allen County Metropolitan Housing Authority and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Wright State University.
