Clifford Edwin Marsh worked for Marathon Electric
Clifford Edwin Marsh, 70, of Lakeview, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. He was born on August 5, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Kenneth Sr. and Kathleen (Hulett) Marsh.
Cliff was a beloved father, pappy, brother and friend. Cliff was known for his laughter, love of music and loyalty to those he loved, including the Cleveland Browns and his best companion and Labrador, Doge. Cliff worked at Marathon Electric in Lima, Ohio until it’s closing, and retired from Honda in Russell’s Point.
He touched many lives with his wit, charm, and unwavering love for family. Whether he was woodworking, watching sports or cooking over an outdoor fire, Cliff brought joy to those around him.
Cliff is survived by his daughters, Shanna Marsh (Corine Ripberger) of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Tara Bricker of Pandora; grandchildren Rosa and Rico Marsh-Martinez and Sebastian and Ariana Bricker. He is also survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Proctor, Dennis Marsh, Nina Hacker, and Kenneth Marsh, Jr. and a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Duey.
A service to honor and celebrate Cliff’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ohio Bird Sanctuary in his memory.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the love Cliff Marsh shared and the memories we will hold close forever.
