Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Co. finalist for Allen County Emerging Business of the Year
What's your favorite gourmet popcorn flavor? Hmm, too many flavors. Can't choose just one.
Congratulations to Pete and Kim Suter of Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn Co., downtown Bluffton. The company is among finalists for the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce Emerging Business of the Year Award. Other businesses nominated are Biggby Coffee and Vino Bellissimo, both of Lima.
The winner will be announced on May 4 at the awards gala at the University of Northwestern Ohio Event Center. The gala is held to recognized area businesses and leaders for outstanding accomplishments.
Winners in six categories will be announced at the event. The other categories are: Small Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Cultural Diverse Business of the Year, Athena Award, and Women Owned Business of the Year.
A previous Bluffton business recognized in this annual event is PromoHits!, owned by Melinda Bowden.
