You could win a car if you score a hole-in-one at the July 23 Bluffton Legion golf scramble
There's still time to register for the Saturday, July 23, second annual Bluffton American Legion golf scramble. The scramble, held at Bluffton Golf Club, has a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
This year the stakes increased as a 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT will be won by a golfer who records a hole-in-one at the event.
The cost to golf is $50 per person or $200 per team. The registration fee includes green fees, cart, door prizes and a steak dinner provided by Richland Manor.
The event will include contest for the longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt, wagering on par 3, skins game and mulligan.
Proceeds assist the Buckeye Boys and Girls State project by the legion, a youth oratorical contest and an American Scholarship Fund.
Hole sponsors are available for $100. Hole and team sponsorships are available for $250.
