On Saturday, Nov. 19, Stewardship University will be held at First Mennonite Church at 101 S. Jackson St. in Bluffton. Open to the public, this educational event from Everence, in partnership with First Mennonite, helps people nurture and cultivate their God-given gifts.
Topics include: Living With "Enough," Protecting Your Family's Future, Raising Money Smart Kids, and more. Courses will be taught by expert instructors from Everence and other faith-related organizations. Courses as well as the opening worship service are meant to challenge the intellect and engage the spirit.
"Everence's stewardship education draws on theology that God generously gives us all things. Stewardship University's mission is to help people respond to God's generosity," said Steve Yoder, pastor.
Cost is $34 for a full day of workshops, including lunch; $14 for individual workshops. Prices include any workshop instructional materials. College student and Everence member discounts are available.
