Knit away the winter blues at the library
Interested in learning how to knit or improving your skills? The Bluffton Public library is offering a free six-week knitting program hosted by Carol Edwards. The first session meets on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Shannon Room. The class will continue for six consecutive Saturdays.
Classes will be structured to accommodate a range of skill levels, from beginners to those with intermediate skills. Practice needles and yarn will be provided during class. Persons may bring their own needles, but them must be U.S. size 8.
Pre-registration is required and class size is limited to the first 10 persons who will be available for all six sessions. The program is open to adults and children ages 10 or older. Call the library at 419-358-5106 or stop by the circulation desk during regular hours to register or to learn more about the program.
