Soup's on at Maple Crest cook-off Nov. 3
Maple Crest Senior Living Village, Bluffton, will host a soup cook-off from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3, featuring six area restaurants and caterers.
The event is in the Patio Room at Maple Crest, 700 Maple Crest Court, off Augsburger Road, Bluffton.
Soups include:
- ^aEUR"Luke's Bar and Grill - Taco soup^aEUR"
- The Dough Hook - Chili
- LuLu's Diner and Catering - Stuffed green pepper^aEUR"
- Jeanne's Kitchen - Broccoli cheddar
- Bluffton University - Loaded baked potato^aEUR"
- Rossilli's - Corn and crab chowder
The meal includes soups, salad, breadsticks, desserts and a drink. The cost is $7 per person or $5 with a donation of a canned good or box of cold cereal. Admission to youth 5 and under is $3.
All donated items will go to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry. Maple Crest asks that persons check expiration dates on donated items to make certain they are current.
