Mennonite Home Health and Senior Services celebrates National Home Health Care month
The employees at Mennonite Home Health and Senior Services are joining home health care providers across Ohio and the nation in marking November as National Home Care and Hospice Month.
"Home care allows patients to be cared for in the comfort of their own homes, regardless of their medical condition, so that they can be close to their loved ones," said Kathy Rode RN, Director of Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services.
"During this month and every month, we honor our patients and recognize our staff for their significant commitment to care for those patients," she said.
Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services has been providing care to Bluffton and surrounding communities for over 15 years.
"With the recent addition of non-medical services such as housecleaning and errands, we are able to enhance senior's ability to remain safely at home," said Rode.
In Ohio, home care allows thousands of patients to remain with their families. Home care promotes independence and human dignity for individuals who lament the loss of freedoms. That's why the demand for these services is increasing.
Mennonite Home Health & Senior Services is a member of the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice, which is one of the nation's oldest and largest trade associations representing 550 home health and hospice agencies dedicated to providing the highest quality service in the home setting.
