For Aylssa, the greatest compliment is call her an artist
Alyssa Casemier, Bluffton High School junior, is the Icon's BHS artist of the month. She has already taken Art 1, Design 1, Design 2 and Ceramics 1.
Aylssa hopes to pursue an art education degree in college.
She says this about art: "When I am called an artist it is the greatest compliment that I can receive. With art, I have an outlet in which I can express my many personal experiences and how I see the world around me. Art is more than just a hobby for me, it is my life. Without it, I would be voiceless."
Vickie Garmon is the art teacher at Bluffton High School.
