A little Saturday noon music
Performing at dedication: Jane Sycks (Paul Baransy playing 2nd trumpet Saturday), Marilyn Edwards, Roy Couch, Greg Mohr, Dave Sycks.
The Bluffton Presbyterian Church, 112 N .Main St., will dedicate its new gazebo in a noon ceremony on Saturday, June 26.
In the event of rain, the festivities will be held in the church.
A Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting and concert by the Dave Sycks Bluffton Brass Quintet are part of the ceremonies.
The 20-by-20-foot structure closely resembles the gazebo or band box that was built on the church lawn in the late 1890s. The new gazebo has been funded by a bequest from church members Bob and Mary Barnett.
