Walter and Barbara (Wiley) Paxson will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on August 23, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church in Portland, Indiana.

The Paxson’s have five children: Marcus (Doris) Paxson, Maria (Leif) Kibele, Darla (Steve) Brumfield, Chris (Jess) Paxson and Gus (Sara) Paxson.

They are the proud grandparents of 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Walter retired from Elevator Services Incorporated in Beaverdam and Barbara retired from teaching at Bluffton Exempted Schools.

They will have an open house celebration on September 1 from 2-5:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Lafayette, Ohio. All are  welcome.
