VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Every year, the board of directors pick one of our wonderful volunteers to receive the Volunteer of the Year Award. In 2024, they chose Diane Reichenbach for her many hours of work watching the desk, helping with the computers, pricing garage sale items, cleaning and doing anything else that is asked of her. Thank you, Diane, for your hard work.

ABOUT MEMBERSHIP
Membership renewal takes place in January. Dues are still just $20 per person. You may pay your dues in person at the office, by mail with a check (132 N. Main St., Bluffton, OH 45817) or over the phone with a credit card (if the machine is working). If you have a change of address, now is a great time to let us know. If you are wintering in the south, please let us know. If you wish to receive your newsletter by email, email Tonya at [email protected]. Email newsletters save the Senior Center money and is faster than snail mail and the email newsletter is in color.

WINTER FARMERS’ MARKET
The Bluffton Senior Center will once again host the Winter Farmers’ Market. This year the market will be on the third Saturday of the month from December thru March. The next market will be Saturday, January 18 from 8:30 to noon.

CBD TALK
Have you ever wondered about the difference between CBD and marijuana? What makes CBD legal and are there benefits to taking CBD. Jonah Agner from the Greenhorn and Food Store will be at the Senior Center on Wednesday, January 15 to talk about the benefits of CBD and explain the differences. Come with your questions. The program is free and open to the public.

ANNUAL GARAGE SALE
Our Annual Garage Sale will be February 27, 28 and March 1. We are taking donations at this time. Please no clothing or shoes and only clean usable items. For a complete list of what we do not accept, please stop in the office or call us. Sign up sheets for workers will be put out in February.
