Amy Warren will present a senior voice and piano recital at the Bluffton Middle School at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29. Krysti Schey is here accompanist.

The recital includes works by Bach, Mozart, Purcell and Chopin among others.

Amy has participated in many instrumental groups, including Bluffton High School’s concert band, marching band, pep band, and jazz band, where she played the flute, piccolo, keyboard, and piano.

Bluffton Relay for Life will hold a quarter auction/Bingo from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, in the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium.

Apollo Career Center, 3325 Shawnee Road, Lima will hold its 26th annual Christmas at Apollo Craft Show Saturday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Admission is $2, children 12 and under are free. The proceeds from the craft show are divided among the Apollo student clubs to fund community service projects and assist students competing at state and national competitions.

One of the largest shows in the region, Apollo Career Center hosts over 100 crafters.

Nick Earl, craft show supervisor, encourages crafters to get their registrations in now.

Romick Railway for kids will participate in this year's Bluffton Blaze of Lights. This is the kid's railway's third visit to the Blaze.

The railway will be in the Blaze parade. Following the parade, kid's rides will be available in front of Greg's Pharmacy until later into the evening.

The third annual Cory-Rawson cheerleading holiday craft show and bake sale is Saturday, Nov. 21.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cory-Rawson schools. Over 40 crafters and vendors will paprticipate.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, basket raffles and concessions.

All proceeds to benefit Cory-Rawson cheerleading program.

 

The Bluffton Lions again will be holding a chicken dinner on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 4-7 p.m. Pre-sale tickets offered at $8.50 each are available through a Lions member or the Edward Jones office on Main St. This year's dinner will be held in a new location -- the basement of the Bluffton Presbyterian Church, Main Street.

Ted’s Market in Pandora will be providing the food for this event; a meal includes ½ chicken, au gratin potatoes, green beans, roll and butter. Coffee or cold drink is included.
