Due to increasing security concerns and to keep student data safe, Bluffton University is no longer able to offer an “email for life” to its alumni community. The following announcement was made on Facebook:

Bluffton University Theatre will present the play “Pride and Prejudice” by Kate Hamill and based on the novel by Jane Austen from March 21-24. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. on March 21-23, and at 2:30 p.m. on March 24 in Ramseyer Auditorium in College Hall. Dr. Melissa Friesen, professor of theatre and communication, will direct the show.

Dr. Robert Brenneman, professor of criminal justice and sociology, Goshen College, will present the Forum, “The New Peacebuilders: Shifting Violence, Shifting Peace in Northern Central America,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12 in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall.

During the presentation, Brenneman will discuss what can be learned from the nitty-gritty peacebuilding practices of Central American Anabaptist-Mennonite congregations.

Lindsay Horn, a 2019 Bluffton University graduate and associate director of social mission at Bellarmine Chapel in Cincinnati, Ohio, will present the Spiritual Life Week Forum, “Contemplation for Spiritual Peace and Wellness,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19 in Yoder Recital Hall.

A documentary about Cuban artists resisting the political regime on the island will be the focus of two Bluffton University Forums on March 12.
