BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women’s basketball team welcomed back alumni as they matched up with the Hanover College Panthers on Jan. 27, 2018. After a second half rally, the Beavers improved to 14-5 on the season (9-3 HCAC). Hanover fell to 12-7 overall (8-4 HCAC).
Dean Walters ’18 will present “Identifying Novel Chemical Compounds to Inhibit the Development of Cancer” during an 11 a.m. Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the Reading Room of Musselman Library.
Walters, a native of Avon, Ohio, is a senior biology and pre-medicine major who spent the summer of 2017 at the National Institutes of Health completing a paid internship researching cancer.

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women’s basketball squad welcomed the Earlham College Quakers for a fierce conference battle on a cold and snowy Wednesday, Jan. 24. Turnovers were the major factor as Bluffton’s tenacious defense helped pave the way for a 58-39 victory. The win pushed the Beavers to 13-5 (8-3 HCAC) on the season, while Earlham dipped to 3-15, 3-8 HCAC.
