The contest between the Beavers and the Pioneers went a quick three sets this afternoon.

The Grizzlies took a 3-0 lead at the break and added an own goal with a little over a minute to play for a 4-0 victory over the Beavers. Bluffton slipped to 3-9 overall and 0-3 in the Heartland Conference, while Franklin improved to 1-6-4 and 1-1-1 with its first victory of the season.

Defiance suffered its first HCAC loss, dropping to 5-10 and 1-1 in league play. Bluffton's sweep of Defiance puts them one match away from 900 program wins!

Bluffton dipped to 3-8 and 0-2 in the HCAC.
