Bluffton High School boys' soccer team completed its first-ever undefeated regular season, at 14-0-2 after finishing off Kalida last night. A women’s ride to vote rally takes place in Bluffton on Saturday, Oct. 17, sponsored by Allen and Hardin for Election Action and Democracy (AHEAD).
The rally celebrates 100 years of women’s right to vote and features several speakers, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick. The event takes place at 216 W. Elm St., Bluffton, from 10 a.m. to noon. Elm Street will be closed from Lawn to Spring during the rally.

BLUFFTON - Allison Diller scored a hat trick to lead the Bluffton girls soccer team to a regular season-ending 5-0 shutout win over visiting Coldwater Thursday night.
With their 12th win in a row, the Lady Pirates improved to 13-2-1. Coldwater fell to .500 at 8-8 with the defeat.
Diller found the back of the net in the third, 10th and 36th minutes of play to give Bluffton a 3-0 halftime lead.

KALIDA - The visiting Bluffton boys soccer team defeated Kalida 4-1 in a non-conference match Thursday night to end the regular season.
The Pirates improved to 14-0-2 with the victory. Kalida fell to 4-10-3 with the defeat.
Simon Derstine netted a pair of goals and added one assist to pace the Pirate offense.
Jonathan Schriner scored a goal in the 11th minute. Josh Mehaffie added to the lead with a goal about six minutes later.
