Spraying will occur on May 31, June 2, June 7, and June 9, starting at dusk. Starting the week of June 13, spraying will be done on Wednesdays, weather permitting, according to village officials.
DTR Industries will sponsor a special Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast at 7:30 a.m., Friday, June 3. The breakfast meeting is in the third floor of the town hall and Richland Manor will provide the free breakfast.
DTR Industries will present its five-year history of a disease management and wellness program that it launched with its associates. The findings of that five-year study will be shared at the breakfast.
Summer official begins in Bluffton at 1 p.m. on Friday. That's when the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool opens.
Pool hours are 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. daily. The pool's telephone number is 419-358-6991.

A special service will be held on Ascension Day, Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. The service, commemorates Jesus' ascension into Heaven. Everyone is welcome and the church is handicapped accessible. For more information, see: tlcjenera.org
It's time for a picnic. This week's community meal, set for 6 p.m., Thursday, June 2, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center takes the feel of a picnic.
The menu includes hot dogs ready to be topped with your choice of ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, onions, relish, cheese or chili sauce.
There will also be baked beans, potato salad, lettuce salad and your choice of dessert.
Members of the English Lutheran Church host this week's event.
