BFR Sports & Fitness announced its summer fitness class schedule. According to Carole Enneking, director, “Group fitness is still a popular workout option even in the summer."
This summer, an early morning Kettlebell Training class will be offered on Tuesdays beginning at 5:30 a.m. In addition, the 30-minute TBC (Total Body Conditioning) class will meet each weekday morning and the 8:30 a.m.
All Star Workout and YogaFit classes will continue. Evening options will be more limited until July when several running programs are introduced.

On Friday, June 14, Main Street Bluffton will be the scene of the 46th annual Bluffton Festival of Wheels Cruise-In. It is a program of the Bluffton Lions Club and should be a couple hundred museum pieces on wheels to Bluffton.
Selma L. Diller, 87, of Pandora, died at 5 p.m. May 28, 2013 at the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born Feb. 9, 1926, near Pandora to Edward and Mary Wenger Miller.
Mrs. Diller grew up on a cane mill farm in rural Pandora. She graduated from Pandora High School in 1944. After marriage, she worked at the Triplett Corp., Bluffton, the Amstutz Cannery in Pandora, Pandora-Gilboa Schools and retired as a nurse’s aide from the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.

Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn’s flavor of the month is “Birthday Cake Popcorn,” according to Peter Suter.
“Last June we rolled out this new creation for Shirley’s birthday party and some customers liked it so much they’ve been asking for it all year. We’ve named it our June flavor of the month,” he said.
The flavor starts with smooth, sweet vanilla popcorn coated with a rich white chocolate and topped off with birthday sprinkles.

Book Reviews, South Main Street, Bluffton, is offering a story time for children ages 4 – 6 (or for anyone who can sit still for about 20 minutes and likes children’s books) at 2 p.m. every Saturday through Aug. 17, according to Paul Unrau.
Each child will receive a free book and a BRV bookmark. Please call to sign up since space is limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The staff at Mustard Seed Café, North Main Street, Bluffton, took on a kitchen challenge Saturday — to create a lunch feature from mystery ingredients.
They received a basket of produce at 7 a.m. and had four hours to work their creative magic.
The basket contained rhubarb and asparagus from Weihrauch Farm near Jenera. Owner Steve Weihrauch is a sustainable farmer and his farm has recently been certified organic.
The cooking team created an imaginative and colorful dish - pasta filled with asiago, chicken and asparagus topped with rhubarb glaze.
