This year's Bluffton High School prom was Saturday evening, in Marbeck Center. And, this year, the prom theme was "Vegas," which also matches the post-prom theme.
Dakota Bricker was the prom king and Alison Wise the prom queen.

The Bluffton tree commission will celebrate Arbor Day with a tree planting at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 28, in the Village Arboretum. The event is open to the public.
The arboretum is between Mustard Seed Café and County Line Road, north of the National Quarry on Lake Street.
A shade tree will be planted just west of the Lake Street entrance to John’s Body Shop. Bluffton celebrates its 25th Arbor Day celebration with the Tree City USA program.
Bluffton University will celebrate its annual May Day weekend of festivities May 4-6. The traditional end-of-the-academic-year celebration intertwines the past by hosting alumni reunions, the present by honoring this year's graduates and the future with first-year students performing the traditional Maypole dance. Classes ending in an eight or three and the class of 2017 will celebrate reunions.

The events begin on Friday, May 4, with the Juried Student Art Exhibition in Sauder Visual Arts Center. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Bluffton University men’s and women’s track and field team competed in the Polar Bear Invite at Ohio Northern University in their last regular season meet as a final tune-up before the HCAC Conference Championship meet.
A number of athletes brought their best game to date which bodes well for next week’s championship. The team’s training load decreases next week in order to be fully rested and ready to rumble in Terre Haute so even better things are set to come.
Bluffton University presented its top athletics awards April 17 to standout athletes in baseball and softball and a special award given to President James Harder and Karen Klassen Harder.
Ryan Golden of Findlay, Ohio, accepted the A.C. Burcky Award as senior male athlete of the year, while Brittany Huff of Union, Ohio, won the Kathryn E. Little Award as outstanding senior female athlete.
