Arlington improved to 8-0 on the season with a 25-9, 25-11, 25-12 victory over the Lady Pirates Tuesday evening.

Senior Alivia Koenig carded a 41 to lead Bluffton to a 202-223 victory over Delphos Jefferson in girls' golf on Wednesday at Bluffton Golf Club.

in the Marathon Auditorium of Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay

Blanchard Valley Hospital (BVH) Gift Shop, Findlay, will host “Flamingo Designer Purse Bingo,” a bingo event with designer purses as prizes, including purses from brands such as Michael Kors and Kate Spade. 

This event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, in the Marathon Auditorium of BVH, located at 1900 S. Main St., Findlay. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the first bingo call will take place at 7 p.m. Attendees can enjoy bingo, silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle and additional raffles. Light snacks will be provided.

Although August 2018 was warmer than average, the temperature ranged 36 degrees from the low point to the high, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.

For my final report of the year I would like to share with you some of the events that our club members participated in at the Allen County Fair, some member awards, and what we did for our club's final meeting.

Some fun things that some of us did at fair were dodge ball, a 4H dance, barn games, Bovine Dress-Up, Livestock Scramble, and Livestock Judging Contest.

(COLUMBUS GROVE) - Bluffton's girls soccer team picked up their first win of the season with a 7-0 whooping of Columbus Grove.  The Pirates sprinted out to a 4-0 halftime lead and added three more scores in the second half to earn the win.

(BLUFFTON) - Now they're rolling!  The boys soccer team collected their fourth straight win Tuesday in a 5-1 triumph over Wapakoneta.  BHS is now 4-1-1 on the season with the lone loss coming in a shootout to Elida. 

The Pirates maintained control of this match from the onset, possessing the ball for a vast majority of the 80 minutes.  Jayden Mays scored first and Isaiah Schwab added a late second half goal to stake Bluffton to a 2-0 lead.
