FROM ADA ICON - After a one-year absence, the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce's Harvest and Herb Festival is back, according to Deb Curlis, chamber director.

PTSD may arise from a wide variety of contexts, such as natural disasters, motor vehicle-related accidents, sexual assault and assault. It is also commonly associated with wartime activities like direct combat.
Betty Ann Amstutz, 89, died April 23, 2021, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Betty was born Sept. 15, 1931, in Lima to the late Fair and Minnie (Mills) Dew. On Dec. 9, 1960, she married Lawrence Amstutz who preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2015.
Betty was a 1949 graduate of Lima Central High School. She worked for 13 years for City Loan - Lima and also was a cashier for a supermarket for two years while attending high school. Betty was a member of Pandora United Methodist Church and enjoyed working in her flower gardens, dining out and her family pets.

A nmessage to parents and caregivers of students at Bluffton High School from the Bluffton schools today reminded them that the Pfizer vaccine is now available at Bluffton Hospital for anyone anyone 16 years or older.
The message from Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent, mentioned that some parents have inquired about vaccination availability.
The message that follows is from Blanchard Valley Health System:
Bluffton Hospital will offer a COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine clinic for Bluffton High School students ages 16 and above at no charge.

Bluffton University football player, Montez Archer Jr., a freshman from Detroit, is an impressive three-trophy winner as awards were recently announced in this season’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC).
LaFayette Jackson Historical Society will host its annual Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 31.

The Lima Rotary Club will hold a reverse raffle at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 3, in the Youth Building at the Allen County Fairgrounds in honor of Jay Begg, the late Allen County Commissioner, and member of the Lima Rotary Club who chaired the club’s annual auction and was involved in many other events.
More than 300 people are expected to attend the Jay Begg Rotary Reverse Raffle, which is a major fundraiser for the Lima Rotary Foundation, as it distributes thousands of dollars to local charities every year.
The Bluffton University baseball team moved to 12-16 with a convincing 5-0 shutout of Anderson University on a chilly Thursday, April 22, 2021, just one day after Mother Nature dropped five inches of the white stuff on Memorial Field. Anderson fell to 15-11 overall and in the HCAC .
Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs will host an online discussion on conducting market research at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 29.
