It's time to sign up for summer basketball camp for girls entering grades 3-6. The Pirate girls camp with Bluffton High School players and coaching staff is a time to "have fun, play games and learn some skills!"

BLUFFTON – Bluffton High School senior slugger Lauren Bassett was named first team All-Northwest Conference for softball in voting conducted by the league coaches Sunday, May 12.

The 56th Festival of Wheels Cruise In hosted by the Bluffton Lions Club will be held on Friday, June 14. The show fills downtown Bluffton with antique and classic cars, trucks, tractors, fire engines and motorcycles.
Parking for entries will begin at 1:00 p.m. with cars on Main St. as well as Vine, Church and Jackson Streets.
Registration takes palce from 1:00-5:00 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.
Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera, will celebrate 75 years since its beginning with the 1948-1949 school year. Two services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, on Sunday, May 19 at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m.
LIMA – Three Bluffton High School boys tennis players and a doubles duo won their first match but were then eliminated in the second round at the Div. II UNOH tennis sectional singles tournament Thursday, May 9.

A couple things to check: • The 1911 wing of Bluffton High School shows on the left center
• First Mennonite, First United Methodist and Bluffton Presbyterian have yet to add additions
• A closer look on the left side of Main Street reveals buildings that no longer exist.
• The Victorian grade school stands at the end of Church Street as do several homes that eventually became part of the middle school and a parking lot expansion.
BLUFFTON __The Pirate boys and girls track and field teams each finished a strong second at the annual Northwest Conference championship meet in Bluffton’s Salzman Stadium Saturday, May 11.
