On July 22, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention determined Allen County is at a HIGH community risk for transmission of COVID-19.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Lima Memorial Health System will follow CDC guidance and require all patients, visitors, associates and vendors to wear a mask while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Universal masking will be required at all Lima Memorial facilities, effective immediately Friday, July 22.
Lima Memorial will continually evaluate its safety measures and update them in accordance with COVID-19 guidance.

Cassandra J. Snyder, 52, passed away July 21, 2022, in Lima.
Cassandra was born October 17, 1969 in Defiance, OH, to Paul and Linda (Davis) Bogatko who survive. On April 6, 1996 she married Christopher "Chris" Snyder who also survives.
Growing up in the 1940s and early ’50s, I was always excited when July 4th rolled around because of the Bluffton rodeo. It was considered by some to be the largest event in northwestern Ohio. The first rodeo was held in 1944 and it became an annual event.
