Bluffton Public Library will be hosting a mobile health clinic on Friday, July 28 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. All services are provided by the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program.

This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, osteoporosis, blood sugar and cholesterol. Please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening.

Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctors. Please notice: vaccines are not offered during these clinics.

Marjorie “Marge” K. (Trenkamp) Hermiller, 93, passed away July 20, 2023 at her residence.  Marjorie was born January 2, 1930 in Lima to Carl and Bertha (Schmitt) Greulich.  She was married to James Trenkamp who preceded her in death and she later married Lavern Hermiller and he survives.

On Tuesday, July 25, the Bluffton Senior Center is taking a bus trip to see The Confession, the musical. Organizers are currently taking standby for this trip.

The group will visit E & S Sales Bulk Foods before getting lunch at the Blue Gate Amish Buffet. The cost is $140. Departure time is 7:00 a.m.

The Bluffton Public Library will host a Creative Families at the Library event on Saturday, July 29 from 10:00-10:45 a.m.

This program is for families with children in grades K-5 and no registration is required. Come and learn about different art mediums and have a chance to practice them, too.

This program is presented as part of a Girl Scout Gold Award project.

The Bluffton Senior Citizens Center's next Toenail Clinic with Dr. Kirk will be Monday, July 24 at 9:30 a.m.

An appointment is required and can be made in the office or call 419-358-8971. The cost is $10 due at the time of appointment.
