Club Celebrates 105 years

One hundred and five years ago the Poinsettia Club of Bluffton was founded by a group of women seeking friendship, laughter and an opportunity to do some good in the world. With the same goals in mind the Poinsettia Club is beginning its new season with a luncheon on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Our motto from Madeline Bridges is “Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you.”

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, will celebrate Palm Sunday, April 13, with a Palm Sunday Processional by the children. The children and choir will sing " Crown Him Lord of All."

There are two identical services at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. Bible classes for all ages begin at 9:20 a.m.

The Bible reading is from Luke 22-23, the account of Jesus' suffering and death. Hymns include "All Glory, Laud, and Honor; Go to Dark Gethsemane; O Sacred Head, Now Wounded; Alas! and Did my Savior Bleed; and On My Heart Imprint Your Image."

Market rules and regulations specify that the market is limited to “fresh, high-quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, bedding plants, potted plants, and other agricultural products.” It also specifies that “All home-produced products (jams, jellies, baked goods, etc.) must comply with all State of Ohio cottage foods rules.”
