Community educator presents Nov. 3 Forum
Alexander Leslie, community educator and campus liaison from the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, will present "A Human Issue: Eradicating Sexual and Intimate Partner Violence," Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. in Founders Hall as part of Bluffton University's Forum series. The forum is free and open to the public.
Leslie has been working in the sexual violence prevention field as a volunteer and staff member for more than five years. He has presented programs to college students about issues such as bullying, sexual harassment, sexual assault, alcohol and consent, masculinity and manhood and Internet safety.
He has established peer prevention groups at Case Western Reserve University and John Carroll University, and supported the establishment of similar groups at other colleges and universities in Ohio.
